Beatles in Beantown

After hearing that I had worked with the Emerson Treble Makers on their recording of “Skinny Love,” Achoired Taste – another a cappella group at Emerson College – approached me to help them record their medley of Beatles songs. Achoired Taste was planning to shoot their first music video and wanted a quality recording of their song.

This group was much larger than the previous group I had recorded and their song was twice as long. Thankfully, we were able to record in multiple rooms allowing us to isolate three singers at once which greatly decreased our time in the studio. I was only the recording engineer for this session as all of the editing and mixing was handled by my good friend Matt Regan over at Hand-and-a-Half Records.
