34th Annual EVVY Awards

As I am graduating from Emerson College this year, the 34th Annual EVVY Awards marked my final time being a part of the broadcast. The EVVYs are the largest student-run multi-camera awards show in the nation. This year I was honored to have received 3 nominations.

Similar to last year, I was also one of close to 300 Emerson students working on the show’s crew. I served as the Lead Front of House Mix so I was responsible for all of the sound contained inside the Cutler Majestic Theater. Although the broadcast is the main focus, there is still a lot going on within the 1,200 seat theater. A live production of this magnitude brings its own sort of challenges especially when half of our audio team is working on the broadcast mix in a TV studio 8 floors up in the next building over!

Thank you to everyone at WERS Live Mix for your help in working on these sessions and congratulations to all of the winners & nominees! The EVVYs are a wonderful example of why I have loved this school so much over my four years here.
