Beethoven’s 9th & Schoenberg

This is my second live webcast with the Boston University Symphony Orchestra & Chorus. We’ve been working for months behind the scenes to prepare for the multi-camera broadcast of this biannual concert at Symphony Hall.

Ken-David Masur — assistant conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra — takes the podium in this all Viennese program. This program features Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 9” and Arnold Schoenberg’s “Friede auf Erden.”

We increased the quality of our pre-recorded packages from the fall semester’s concert, specifically developing new graphics and adding content addressing how the entire program fits together that was released in the weeks leading up to the show. I believe that the additional content provides much more context for the viewers and gives the broadcast a much more polished look.

Enjoy the show!
